Matric (high school) or class 10 from any recognized Indian board.
Physical Qualifications:
Male: Candidates must be able to lift and carry a 35 kg weight for 100 meters in two minutes and run 1000 meters in four minutes and fifteen seconds.
Just For One Chance
Female: For one chance, she must lift and carry a 20 kg weight for 100 meters in two minutes and run 1000 meters in five minutes and forty seconds.
Age Limit (as of July 1, 2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 36 years
- Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms (OBC: 3 years, SC/ST: 5 years).

- General/OBC: ₹500

Selection Process
The selection procedure comprises four stages:
Computer-Based Test (CBT):
- Subjects include general awareness, mathematics, and general intelligence & Reasoning.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
- Male Candidates:
- Lift and carry 35 kg for 100 meters in 2 minutes without putting the weight down.
- Run 1000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 seconds.
- Female Candidates:
- Lift and carry 20 kg for 100 meters in 2 minutes without putting the weight down.
- Run 1000 meters in 5 minutes and 40 seconds.
- Male Candidates:
RRB EXAM Document Verification
- Verification of eligibility and authenticity of submitted documents.
RRB EXAM Medical Examination
- Candidates must meet the medical standards as prescribed in the official notification.
